Self care refers to the actions we take in order to take care of ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Whenever I start feeling like there is not enough time in the day I look at my schedule. As demands for my business increase, my kids grow, and seasons change I feel the need to update my day to day routine in an effort to maximize efficiency and my sanity.
Try to remember to give yourself some grace. Take a few moments to think about all the good you are normally rocking, drop the guilt, and get back in touch with the super mama you really are. Life is about progress not perfection.
Loneliness? Really? Now I know it sounds counter-intuitive to think you could be lonely when you are constantly surrounded by these vivacious little people that are crazy full of energy and almost never stop talking. They are so full of life and have a million things to say. Just hear me out though.
These thoughts and feelings that often had me questioning if I should even be a stay at home mom. Or even worse, made me think I was a horrible mom. It got me wondering how many mothers out there were struggling just like me.
